Alexander Raban Waugh was born in London. Waugh was educated at Sherborne School in Dorset, but was "asked to leave" following a homosexual scandal. This indelible experience was recounted in his first book, "The Loom of Youth." His first marriage was to the daughter of W.W. Jacobs, author of "The Monkey's Paw."  Alexander Waugh autograph images are highly sought be collectors and this replica would make a great display.
