In 1776, Arthur Lee was appointed by the Continental Congress as one of three commissioners to negotiate a peace treaty with France. Lee was a member of the Continental Congress from 1781-1785 and opposed ratification of the U.S. Constitution. This reproduction would look great in an album or display.
