Bank of the United States Check

The Bank of United States, the brainchild of Alexander Hamilton, was chartered by the United States Congress on February 25, 1791.  The bank was designed to function for the benefit of the federal government.  The Bank of the United States represented the U.S. Government in domestic and international transactions.  Checks from the Bank of the United States make wonderful conversational display pieces.
