Beniamino Gigli succeeded Enrico Caruso at the Metropiltan Opera Company. Gigli debuted at the Met in 1920 and gave his last operatic tenor performance in 1955. Gigli had a wonderful voice, but was a devoted pro-Nazi fascist. In fact, many musicologists consider him to be the most famous tenor of his time, and one of the best tenors in the history of music recording. Beniamino Gigli autograph images are interesting conversation pieces. This reproduction would look great in an album or display.
