Sue Carol Ladd was a Jewish actress.  She was born Evelyn Lederer in Chicago, Illinois. One of the WAMPAS Baby Stars, for eleven years from 1927 to 1937, she performed in motion pictures then became a successful agent when she met her future husband, Alan Ladd. For her contribution to the motion picture industry, Sue Carol Ladd has a star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame at 1639 N. Vine Street.
