Commissioners of Public Schools in Baltimore, Maryland, issued this receipt in 1882.  It is interesting to note the separation between White Schools and Colored Schools as seen at the bottom of this receipt for six months ground rent.  This antique financial document as a wonderful memento.  It woould make a wonderful display piece in a home or office.
