James Fenimore Cooper was expelled from Yale University for a dangerous prank.  However, he rose to become one of the most popular authors of the 19th century.  He lived most of life in Cooperstown, New York.  The autograph of James Fenimore Cooper is coveted by literature buffs, and especially by readers of his most famous novel, The Last of the Mohicans.   This reproduction would look great in an album or display.
