Cornelius Greenway (1896-1968) was Pastor of All Souls Church in Brooklyn, New York, from 1929 to 1965. Prior to serviing the church, Greenway was an American soldier in World War I and received the Purple Heart. He graduated from Tufts University in 1925. Cornelius Greenway, or "Connie" as he was known to his congregants, was also one of the early pioneers of collecting autographed checks. His collection was legendary. Greenway wrote a book on autograph collecting called Hunting Big Game with a Fountain Pen. This Cornelius Greenway autograph check reproduction would look great in an album or display.
