Considered the most famous orator of his time, Everett was an ordained minister who also served as Governor of Massachusetts and Secretary of State in the Fillmore presidential administration. He is probably best known for his two hour speech that preceeded Abraham Lincoln's ten minute Gettysburg Address at the dedication of the Gettysburg National Cemetery on November 19, 1863. This reproduction would look great in an album or display.
