Emmett Kelly was one of the world's most famous circus clowns in America. Kelly began his circus career as a trapeze artist. When he changed direction, he created the sad clown known as Weary Willie. Kelly performed with the Ringling Brothers Barnum and Bailey Circus for many years. In 1956, Kelly performed as a mascot for the Brooklyn Dodgers baseball team. He was also the clown known as Willie in Cecil B. De Mille's The Greatest Show on Earth starring Charlton Heston and Betty Hutton. This reproduction would look great in an album or display.
