This is the guy that started the Battle at Gettysburg! Heth led his Confederate troops into the town of Gettysburg to find shoes for his worn troops. A clash erupted between his men and Union calvary soldiers. The chance encounter escalated into a four-day battle where over 35,000 soldiers from the North and South were killed. Heth graduated last from his 1847 class at West Point.
