Henry Remsen (1762-1843) served as the first Chief Clerk of the US Patent Office from 1790-1792. The current Patent Office building , the Remsen building, was dedicated to him in 2003. He later served as President Thomas Jefferson's private secretary while Jefferson was in office, and was president of the Manhattan Company from 1808-1826. This Henry Remsen autograph reproduction would look great in an album or framed display.
