On January 15th, 1936, Horace Stoneham succeeded his late father as president of the New York Giants. When funding for a new $75 million stadium in New York would not materialize, Stoneham moved his team to San Francisco in 1958. This attractively illustrated check to trainer Frank Bowman was signed in 1953 while the team still played in New York.   This reproduction would look great in an album or display.
