James Beauregard served as a Confederate major general who initiated the attack on Fort Sumter which started the Civil War. Beauregard also led his troops with distinction at First Bull Run and Shiloh.  He was also known as "Little Napoleon."  A James Beauregard autograph is a wonderful display item.
