John Hartranft was awarded a Model of Honor for his actions in the Civil War. In 1865, he was the special Provost Marshall for the trial of the Abraham Lincoln conspirators and gave the order for their execution. Hartranft was also a Pennsylvania governor.  John Hartranft autograph displays are great conversational pieces of the Civil War. This reproduction would look great in an album or display.
