Josiah William Bailey was a prominent Democratic Senator from North Carolina.  Bailey graduated from Wake Forest before becoming editor of the influential Biblical Recorder.  Bailey authored the Conservative Manifesto, a publication that took issue with the New Deal proposed by President Franklin Delano Roosevelt.  The Conseravtive Manifesto recommeneded lower taxes and less spending.  A Josiah William Bailey autograph is a wonderful memento. This reproduction would look great in an album or display.
