Lee J. Cobb was originally Leo Jacoby. He made his screen debut in "Ali Baba Goes to Town" (1937). Cobb played the highly acclaimed role of Willy Loman in Arthur Miller's "Death of a Salesman" when it premiered in 1949 at New York's Morosco Theater.
