Louis Brandeis was born in Louisville, Kentucky in 1856 to a family supportive of many secular traditions. After completing his secondary education in Germany, Brandeis returned to the United States where he studied law at Harvard. Brandeis became a successful lawyer representing small companies against giant corporations. In 1916 Brandeis was appointed a judge of the U.S. Supreme Court judge, the first person of Jewish heritage to ever be appointed to this position. His support of Zionist causes is evidenced by this check to the League for Labor Palestine.
This Louis Brandeis autograph check reproduction would look great in an album or display.
