Oliver Hardy of the legendary comedy team of Laurel and Hardy was a singer, hotel clerk, law student, and serious actor before he paired up with Stan Laurel at Hal Roach Studios in 1926.  Laurel and Hardy started making films in the silent era and naturally transitioned into talkies.  Their first feature film was Pardon Us in 1931.  In the 1950s they gave successful performances in Europe.  Their last films were The Bullfighters (1945) and Atoll K (1951).  This autograph check image is special because it was made out to Ben Shipman, Hardy's close friend and business manager.  An affordable Oliver Hardy autograph check image looks great in an office or home display.
