Stan Laurel was partner in the legendary comedy tyeam of Laurel and Hardy.  Laurel worked in the Hal Roach studios as a writer and director.  However, while working in the studio, he met Oliver Hardy.  When another member of Hardy's comedy team fell ill, Laurel was substituted.  From that point they made a series of movies that became comedy classics.  Some of their many movies included Slipping Wives, Duck Soup and With Love and Hisses.  Their work together was prolific and their chemistry captivated audiences.  Their movie The Music Box won an Academy Award for Best Short Subject.  From Hal Roach Studios, Laurel and Hardy went to work with 20th Century Fox where they continued to make critically acllaimed movies.  Stan Laurel and Oliver Hardy have a legion of dedicated fans.  Stan Laurel autograph displays will continue to interest and fascinate people as long as Hollywood comedy is remembered and watched.
