Lee Strasberg: One of America's leading proponents of Method acting. He arrived in the USA at age nine, co-founded the influential, left-leaning Group Theater in 1930 and became artistic director of the newly formed Actors Studio in 1948. Although he himself acted in only a few films, he greatly influenced others at his studios in Los Angeles and New York. When Lee Strasberg died in 1982, he left an estate valued at $1,553,677. Of paramount importance was that section of his twelve-page Last Will that redirected a portion of Marilyn Monroe's residual estate to his seconnd wife. As a result, millions of dollars derived from Marilyn Monroe's films, video rentals, and licensed products, perpetually flow into the bank accounts of a woman Marilyn never met or could have ever have imagined as a beneficiary of her spectacular career.  This Lee Strasberg autograph signed check reproduction is made out to Paula Strasberg and endorsed by Paula and Lee Strasberg.  This reproduction would look great in an album or display.
