The Peoples Bank of Waseca Check

The Peoples Bank of Waseca was originally chartered in 1881 with an initial capitalization of $25,000.  In 1900 the name was changed to The People's State Bank of Waseca.  In 1908 the bank was rechartered as The Farmer's National Bank of Waseca.  In 1931, the bank was purchased by First Bank Stock Corporation, now known as US Bancorp..  In 1971 the bank was recharetered as The First State Bank of Waseca.  In 1987 the bank, now operating as The First State Bank of Waseca, adopted the service mark of 'The Roundbank' after the buildings style of architecture.  In 1993 the bank changed its name to Roundbank.. This bank check reproduction would make a wonderful display or addition to a collector's album.
