Theodore Peck was a Medal of Honor recipient for his bravery during the Civil War.  His citation stated that by long and persistence resistance and burning the bridges, kept a superior force of the enemy at bay and covered the retreat of the garrison.  Peck served as First Lieutenant in the 9th Vermont Infantry.  After the Civil War he worked as an insurance agent.  A Theodore Peck autograph is a wonderful addition to a collection of Civil War memorabilia
