Warren Beatty is an actor who has received fourteen Academy Award nominations and four Golden Globe Awards. His sister is well-known actress Shirley MacLaine. Beatty studied acting at the Northwestern University School of Drama and also at the Stella Adler Conservatory of Acting in New York City. His only Broadway appearance was in 1960 when he performed in A Loss of Roses. In the 1950s, Beatty appeared on several television series shows including Studio One, Playhouse 90, and The Many Loves of Dobie Gillis. His first major film success was also his debut in Elia Kazan's Splendor in the Grass. Beatty's most popular movie was in 1967 when he played the part of Clyde Barrow in Bonnie and Clyde. His next big movie hits were Dick Tracy in 1990 and Bugsy in 1991.
