Drummerboy William Diamond started the American Revolution when his drum roll gathered about 70 minutemen in the main square of Lexington to face British forces. The shooting between colonists and British troops was the first battle of the American Revolution. This is the only check signed by William Diamond which is known to exist.  This Stepehen Diamond signed check would look great in an album or display case.
